Pay, days, requirement and workplace are copied from the in-game Jobs app. Promotion skills come from the job’s own description when it names one, otherwise from another fan guide’s table. “Not confirmed” means neither says.

To apply vs. to get promoted

These are two different checks, and mixing them up is the most common mistake in job lists. To apply is the lock on the job card: you can’t take the job until one of your skills reaches that level. Promotion skill is what moves you up once you have the job.

Product Management is the clearest example. Its card is locked at Coding 3, while the job description says Charisma gets you promoted. So you train Coding to get in, then Charisma to climb.

Why there’s no hourly pay here

When we checked, every card said “1-hour shifts, any time”. But after applying for Banking the screen showed a set next shift at 8:00 AM, and some job descriptions mention night shifts or particular days. Older guides list fixed shifts of six to ten hours. Until we work a full week and see when shifts run and what lands in the wallet, we won’t divide pay by hours or promise that you can work at a given time.

Jobs in Abuja and Port Harcourt

Ten careers say their shifts are in another city. The logged-in map has Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja buttons, and we could view the Abuja map. Seeing the map isn’t the same as travelling and working there, which we haven’t verified yet. If you want a job you can reach straight away, filter by Lagos.

Picking your first job

  • Want the most pay now? Airport Staff (₦12,000) and Banking (₦11,600) were the best-paid Lagos jobs with no lock. Refining showed ₦14,000, but its refinery was marked “Coming soon” on the map.
  • Planning ahead? Build Fitness to 3 for Medicine (₦21,000) or Aviation (₦19,000), Coding to 3 for Product Management (₦20,000), or Hustle to 3 for Civil Service (₦17,000).
  • Fewer working days? DJ, Event Planning and Football run four days a week; Trading, Retail and several others run six.

Then plan your first week’s rent and loan with the budget calculator.

Job questions

What is the highest-paying job in Lagos Life?

For entry roles in the Jobs app, Medicine pays the most at ₦21,000 per shift, but it needs Fitness 3 before you can apply. Among Lagos jobs with no skill lock, Airport Staff showed ₦12,000; Refining showed ₦14,000, but its refinery is marked “Coming soon” on the map. Pay rises with promotions; we have not verified higher levels ourselves.

How long is a shift in Lagos Life?

On 6 October 2026 every job card read “1-hour shifts, any time”. After applying, the game also showed a next shift at 8:00 AM, and older guides list long fixed shifts. Because these don’t agree, we list pay per shift and don’t calculate an hourly rate.

What does “Mid-level · needs fitness 3” mean?

Some careers start above entry level and are locked until one of your skills reaches the level shown. For example, Medicine needs Fitness 3 and Product Management needs Coding 3. That is only the requirement to apply; promotion later can depend on a different skill.

Can I work a job in Abuja or Port Harcourt?

The Jobs app lists ten careers whose shifts happen in Abuja or Port Harcourt, and the map lets you switch to those cities. We have not yet travelled there and worked a shift, so we can’t confirm how travel works or what it costs.
